Reflection #1

       I have progressed farther than I actually believed I would this week. As I stated in my proposal, my plan was to spend a week on each different category of signs. This past week, I have learned three different categories of signs: family, places, and time. I have also practiced using them whenever possible. For instance, in every class, I make the signs for "no homework." While seemingly irrelevant, these signs also helps me remember the signs for yes, home, and work. So far, I have mastered the signs for family and am close to perfecting the signs for places. I am having a bit of trouble remembering the signs for time, but with a little more practice, I will have mastered those as well. My plan for the next week is to not only master the signs for the past three categories, but to learn the signs for temperature and some signs for food. I will also search for more sources to use to learn more signs. Overall however, I have made great progress this past week and hope to keep up my progress.
