Reflection #1

       This week, I focused on the basics of using a sewing machine. I watched a video that explained the different parts of the machine, how to thread it, and how to create a straight stitch. Yesterday, I practiced threading my machine and creating a straight stitch. It took a few tries to thread it, but I was eventually able to do it. Creating a straight stitch didn't take me quite as long, but I will definitely need to practice more so I can become confident in that basic skill. I'll work on that more this week. Hopefully I can move on to learning a different skill next week.
