Reflection 1
Since I want to start with a basic recipe like cookies, I started by going online and researching different kinds of cookies. I didn't want to just simply make a batch of cookies from a Pillsbury cookie container, but instead I thought that I would challenge myself just a bit and find a more "unique" recipe. So, I went on the food network website to research on different cookie recipes and I noticed that there was a very large amount. Because I love Alton Brown as a chef, I decided to look at his recipes and I came across one for chewy chocolate chip cookies which are a particular favorite of mine. The total time said about 2 hours but the recipe seemed simple enough for a somewhat challenging first attempt. I watched Alton's episode of his old show "Good Eats" for a better insight into the process of making the cookies and during the weekend, I want to attempt to make the cookies for the first time.
