Reflection 1

During this first week, I've started by buying the supplies I'll need. I went to an art supply store and bought new pencils, blending tools, and a sketch book. As I was in the art supply store I saw that there were many different types of pencils, charcoals, paper, ect, and I realized I need to do more reading up on which ones are better. I started sketching objects in front of me and learning how to shade properly but I realized my biggest challenge is with proportions. Converting a bigger image into a smaller one on paper includes measurements, detail and precise angles. I worked on an English project poster and I took advantage of drawing the picture for my group. Doing this activity helped me see where I am and what i need to work on.
