Reflections, Week One
Hello everyone! so this marks the completion of the first week of the twenty percent project! Just as a short little reminder, I am learning how to play the guitar for my project. So for this week I worked on 4 basic chords. These chords are very simple, which is why i chose to do the four of them at once. I think it has gone very well, as I don't need to think very much about doing them after the whole week of practicing them and using them in different songs and melodies. Now this first week and first "lesson" of sorts was important because this is my starting off point. If I could conquer the basics, then I can figure out how to learn the rest of the chords, and maybe even some singular notes. The chords I learned (which i just realized now I never stated. Those chords are A, D, E and G (I also learned E minor but seeing as its literally one finger less that the regular E chord I'm not really counting it as much) are very popular and commonly used chords, which gives me more options in playing a variety of songs and will assist me in future playing. Now I don't want to say that I've mastered these chords, because there is always room for improvement, but I do believe I have a very good handle on them, and that if asked I could play them easily. Next week I will move on to two new chords, F and C, and I might possibly post a video then to accompany that. Who knows! Wish me luck!!
