Reflection 1
About two weeks ago, I had my uncle do all my body measurements. I was told that a scale is your worst enemy, and you should never go by it. Unless you are weighing yourself at the same exact time everyday, the results aren't going to be beneficial to seeing your actual results. My goal for this week was to stop eating after seven o'clock, and I am going to be honest, some days I cheated while being up really late doing homework. I didn't want to make a smoothie so late at night, and disturb people while sleeping. I was able to workout three days this week. I didn't workout the fives days as planned, however the days that I did workout were awesome. On Monday, I worked out with my god sister at my house. We did a circuit workout that consisted of jumping jacks, crunches, high knees, push ups, bicycle crunches, lunges, planks, burpees, and leg lifts. On Tuesday night, I came home to my sister making chocolate chips cookies, and it was so hard not to take one. My self control kicked in during this situation. On Wednesday, I worked out after school with my friend Leslie from APA. Wednesday is my favorite day to go to the AIT fitness room because Mr. Starbust is there, and always gives me and my workout partner a really good workout. We did the same circuit he planned for his class earlier that day. He taught me that drinking chocolate milk after working out is really beneficial because the chocolate has something in it that helps with soreness. On Thursday, my uncle, who is a personal trainer gave my aunt, cousin, and I another really good at home circuit to do. I realized that working out with a partner is really helpful because when you get tired and want to stop they motivate you to keep going and vise versa. I am satisfied with my workout effort this week, and am excited for this journey to getting in shape!
