This week i focused on benchmark drawings to see if i could come up with any ideas which could later be used as a template for the tattoos. I realized that without planning, freehand drawing is very difficult and many times does not look that great. I also learned that symmetry is key, asymmetrical designs such as the butterfly look descent, but the symmetry of the others makes them more visually appealing. In order of quality i would say 3,4, and 6 are the best and 1 and 2 are just too busy for a tattoo. This week i will focus more on floral designs and begin to separate male and female designs.
