Reflection 3

This week, we wanted a sweet snack and opted for something simple. The apples my mom had just bought were pretty amazing, so we sliced one and covered it with almond butter and dusted the slices with cinnamon. It was pretty delicious for a healthy, five-minute snack. Apples are pretty low carb if you consider their glycemic index, and the almond butter adds more fiber and some fat and protein as well, balancing out the snack. This midday treat was easy, delicious, low-carb, and  nutrient-packed!
