Reflection 7

This week I didn't have a lot of time to actually draw and sketch, due to school work. I didn't want to waste this week so I watched a lot of tutorials and technique videos. I used this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENBv-TZjZb8) to learn about proportioning techniques. I think i'm going to try to grid method. From this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TNOqmmtD9g) I learned about skin textures and how the grade of lead affects how smoothly the shading is done, which is very helpful when drawing the contours of the face. The final video I watched was much shorter in comparison to the others (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDWK1PWbyS8) but helped me the same. It explained how different lines effect the realistic-ness of drawing figures. While I didn't get to work on any drawings, I learned a great amount from these videos and will practice the techniques.
