Reflection #6
This week I came very close to getting "Stand by Me" perfect. I continued to practice my chords, and in most chord transitions I didn't even have to look at my finger placement on the guitar. My confidence is still growing!! The importance of this week was that I learned that I had the ability to transition without looking (for the most part). If I continue to build on my chord knowledge, I should be able to seamlessly transition between most chords in a couple of weeks. I would love to constantly use my no-look transitions in the future; being able to transition in that manner shows I am becoming confident and comfortable with my guitar skills- the more I practice, the easier it is to transition. However, there is one transition that still gives me trouble (C to D). It still takes me about 2 or 3 seconds to transition between those chords and I must look at my fingers when transitioning between those two chords. This upcoming week, I will constantly practice that chord transition as well as finishing up "Stand by Me". I'm feeling good, and hopefully next week I will get to playing a Credence Clearwater Revival Song. Until next week!

I'm thrilled to hear your confidence is growing and that you're getting ready to move to the next song! Do you know anyone with stronger guitar skills, who might be able to help you master that tricky transition?
