In the past two weeks I have started noses, which are perhaps the easiest facial feature for me to draw. It didn't take me as long as I thought to become good at drawing them, so after that I started working on the face as a whole. Proportions are really annoying and difficult, but I've been attempting to work through that. Mark Crilley has an awesome video that shows the progressive ages of one female, which helped a lot with the explanation of the way I should be sizing different things at different ages (see that video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBoa8TAy65s ). I'll be working on faces for at least two more weeks-- I really want to perfect my technique.
The future looks bright.
