Since this is my 7th week of my marathon training, the lengths of the runs that I go on are hardcore. Just to make it clear, the chart above is the training that I have done and will do for the rest of the week. The XT in Monday stands for cross-training and that includes small exercises like jumping rope, push-ups, sit-ups, etc. This week my cross training was playing basketball. One thing that happened this week to help me was my gym teacher, Mr. Brooks, gave me a watch that measures distance. It is helpful but it only tells distance in kilometers so I had to convert miles to km on my computer first to know how far to run. A problem that I faced this week and basically throughout my time training was the weather. I usually run after I have done all of my homework so when I go outside, it is usually dark and cold.
