Reflection 9

This week I didn't get a chance to physically work on my 20% project, but I did watch a video on how to continue knitting with new yarn once you run out of the yarn you've been using. It was very helpful, and made the process seem easy. Now I am not at all intimidated by doing this because I know I will be able to do it without any problems. All you have to do is knit at least 3 stitches with the two yarns (new and old) held together. Once you're done with the 3 stitches, you drop the old one and continue with the new one. To make it look better, you can cut off the old one that will be left over after you're done with the whole row.
I plan on going to AC Moore over the weekend to get more of the same yarn, if I can find the exact same color, texture, and length. If not, I'll just get yarn that looks similar to the one I have. I think I'll be able to work on my project a lot this weekend, because I have a day off from work, and other than an SAT practice test and some hours spent practicing driving before my test, I'll have the whole afternoon to work on it. I would really like to be done before winter break with this or to finish sometime during. When I'm done I want to make it better looking somehow, because it's not looking too great, and I want to be able to wear it.
