Reflection 10
I have finally overcome the mental blockade I had. I feel as if these past few weeks I was just lazy and didn't have the drive or motivation to truly try and exercise. This week I started waking up a bit earlier to do some stretching or yoga, which definitely helped clear my mind a bit during school. I have also started looking for and creating more foods that help with high cholesterol. I have kept limiting gluten in my diet and started eating foods such as flax seeds, nuts, olive oil, and oats. I have also started to become more conscious of the foods I am eating. For instance, while I can usually eat mashed potatoes and rice in the same meal, I made sure I only chose one to better control my carbohydrate intake. I have also learned the importance of not only time management, but of motivation as well. I do admit that these past few weeks I have been slacking, but no more! This week I will make sure that I stick to my workout schedule and fulfill all the requirements I created at the beginning of this project.
